I had a dream yesterday. Which is a bit of a strange thing.

I know that almost all human beings dream, (whether they remember it or not), but I stopped remembering mine a long, long time ago. And so when I say that “I don’t dream”, I mean that I wake up in the mornings not knowing one way or another.
At least with respect to my conscious, I don’t dream.
And so in the last three years (including today), I’ve woken up remembering my dream on six different occasions (twice a year). Four of those times have been work-related (so I dream about math — who doesn’t?), once last year I had a dream about losing my teeth (which I had once when I was a child), and…yesterday…?
Yesterday, I had a dream about a girl (No one in particular — just a nameless pretty blonde). That’s right, fellas. A good ol’ fashion dream about women.
Wooo hoo! Go me! High fives all around.
I’ll tell you something though: Thank God.
Thank God, because I swear, if this one turned out to be about maths, I’m pretty sure I’d have picked up the phone and called for immediate psychiatric assistance.
Dear Doctor: I’m a twenty-something guy. Aren’t I supposed to be dreaming about fast cars and easy women like, all the time. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with me?
Okay. Six more months till’ the next one. Can’t wait.

For someone who remembers their dreams vividly on a weekly, if not daily basis, I don’t put much thought into what a normal, or non normal dream is. Maths sounds pretty normal, since you’re life is pretty much based around it.
NYCWD says,
In America that would be considered dreaming of cherry pie.
Or in your case… cherry pi.
Alexandra says,
Ha, ha! I liked the cherry pi comment.
Sometimes I dream of Math. As in I’m in grade 12 and it’s 3 weeks till the final, biggest, most important exam in a student’s life. And I realize I don’t remember anything in Math. Nothing! Only a vague memory that in grade 10 we studied something about matrices and determinants.
That FREAKS ME OUT!
And love it when I wake up and realize it was just a dream.
From the same batch, there are the dreams when I have an exam in German and I haven’t attended ANY German classes since the beginning of the school year.
It kind of makes me wonder: what IS going on in my subconscious that generates these atrocities?
[I refuse to think about what Freud would say.]

Wow!
I have never ever dreamed, to the point i don’t see or get what i’m missing.
My friends say demons don’t dream…
But i’m happy with my life & family, career. I just haven’t dreamed ever and i’m now it’s been 30 yrs.
No drugs, drinking, even dr’s say lay still when you wake up for 5 min. Get a pad/pencil and write down what 1st comes to mind. But there’s nothing that came, except ready to s-shower & shave.
People talk about what they’ve experienced in their dreams, sounds cool but i have never sensed any connection or omens etc. I just don’t dream period or ever worried about it,been curious if i’m the only alien out there. Maybe if i could find the dreamweaver or seek the oracle in the temple of dreams, ye if any exist. Sounds like fun
